Intervention areas
AMDEC's main areas of intervention:
- Education: actions to promote access and improve the quality of basic education actions in pre-school and tutoring literacy actions improvement of school infrastructure, among others
- Health: prevention and health promotion activities (infectious diseases, etc.)
- Water and sanitation: promoting access to safe water improvement of sanitation conditions promotion of good collective and individual health and hygiene habits construction/rehabilitation of sanitation infrastructure
- Governance and civil society: promotion of good governance, dialogue, consultation, partnership between public and local actors reinforcement of the capacity for intervention and participation of grassroots community organizations conflict prevention and resolution awareness and prevention against mines and other explosive devices and mine clearance
- Agriculture: promotion of family farming nutrition education and food security
- Public Security: promotion of actions aimed at preventing crime within the community.
