March celebrating World Tuberculosis Day (25.03) in Quissico-Zavala, Inhambane province. The event brought together governmental and non-governmental institutions committed to the fight against the disease, with community awareness messages being disseminated. Success stories of patients who overcame the disease were also presented, as a way of encouraging the population to join health services for conventional treatment. AMDEC participated in the event through the project “Strengthening the national response to HIV and TB in Mozambique”, implemented in the district of Zavala since 2021, in partnership with the CCS and with funding from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
